dot-hey-you sounds right to me. To tune Win into the radio it usually is at about 91.(something) so yeah that sounds about right.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure it would be but just for clarification, is that why they changed their name from WIN4 to just WIN?

Basically yes.......WIN 59 didn't have the same ring.

Is it me or has the Nine News watermark at its most transparent? Looking at Nightline, I swear a few months ago that it was solid.

The one place i wasn't expecting to see the Channel Seven Watermark...was in a small Kodak store in Patong, Phuket.

But while flicking through an album of Tsunami photos, i couldn't help but get a photo of this..

To respond to n1ck's observation, I think that was a direct snapshot from footage of the Tsunami that was supplied to the Tai networks from Seven and whoever is selling those pictures couldn't be assed removing the watermark.

Isn't it exactly a year to the games?

Here is a cap, I upped the brightness so the watermark was obvious, it is hardly noticeable otherwise.

August 8, yep, 365 days to go.

Do they usually put it on so early?

Don't suppose we'll see that on 7Qld, they still have 7 with the city name underneath it here... maybe during the games though...

I think they're just doing it today to announce that the games start in 1 years time: 08.08.08

I think it will go back to the normal watermark tomorrow (I hope!)

They usually do it for about a year which is what happened with Athens. The watermark will go back to normal after the primetime repeat of the closing ceremony in 2008.

I think it's a bit much, them using the watermark so early.

Doesn't NBC use theirs about a year out also? Last time with Athens it was on for a long time before the Olympics wasn't it? It may just seem like it's on there for an eternity.

Maybe thy were just testing it or it was a malfunction. As the capper said, it was in the middle of the night when it appeared.

The Olympic watermark ran from 12:00am for 24 hours, as Jeffmister said, most likely to mark exactly 365 days until the games.

Nice change from our city name being plastered underneath the 7 logo... like we don't know where we live or something!
