It has been suggested that Sonia Kruger has been lured across to Nine to host Big Brother next year. This will be a big loss to DWTS. Who should replace her next year?
(Sonia was also part of Seven's coverage of Melbourne Cup Carnival, and Seven still has two years left in the current contract with the Victoria Racing Club. If Nine gets the rights to the Melbourne Cup as part of the combined rights to Melbourne's Spring Racing Carnival, also featuring Caulfield Guineas, Caulfield Cup and Cox Plate, Sonia could also be involved, although it will be a long shot.)

There are lots of options. Fifi box, Natalie garonzi, Kylie Gilles, I think an ex- contestant would be good.

Natalie Bassingthwaighte has been suggested in a story in The Spy Report but I can't see that working if she was also doing The X Factor. The two shows would clash with X Factor auditions running at the same time as the live DWTS shows.

7 always do this drop 3 names then pick someone totally different. Replacing Darryl was reportedly between Larry, Aok and Fifi. X factor was reportedly between Darren McMullen, Hugh Sheridan and axle whitehead. The amazin race was reportedly between Daniel macpherson, Darren and Tom williams. Every time none of the 3 got the job. Now Sonia's role is reportedly between Natalie, Kylie and Fifi. I'd say those are 3 names we can now strike off as a possibility.

I'd say in most cases the three names are media speculation. It's not just Seven where this happens. The same thing just happened with Kerri-Anne being replace on Mornings. We had names being thrown around like Catriona Rowntree, Sophie Falkinerand Kate Cenrano...but then suddenly its Sonia Kruger.

I think Kylie would be very good, though. She has that certain "rich housewife/mum" element (I'm searching for a better stereotype but failing) about her, which is why she works so well in the mornings.

I think Seven should try to lure some of their 'international' celebrities like Mel B, or Ronan Keating, or even Dannii...

I doubt Mel b would want to spend any more time away from her young family than she already does, and dannii would probably charge the entire shows budget. But Ronan might be up for it. On the theme of judges Nat Bass does a lot of celebrity shows I'm sure she'd do it but it would probably conflict with X Factor. They should Definately look into international stars.
