Other then the WWOS, I think I prefer the current cover-ups to be honest (espically they are now putting thought and effort into them).

The WWOS coverup is my favourite too. I agree that WIN are putting a bit more effort into their coverups these days, although they probably should do what I've done with GEM and GO! (although GO's one is a bit too big) instead of those pointless pink coverups.

I think blurring the 9 logo would look pretty obvious to the everyday viewer that they are trying to hide something.

Fair point, although would the average viewer on the street know or care that the WIN coverup is a coverup? Probably not.

Ten would need something like this up their sleeve if the ABC ever decides to acknowledge their name was stolen.

Love it! Sydney and Melbourne could use a similar campaign. :rotfl:

An idea for a low impact, 16.9 safe ABC1 watermark:

Not really a mock, but here's what I'd like to see on Extra instead of ChatShaq:

Don't like it. The ABC1 and 2 logos already have too many variations, if you know what I mean.

Fair point, although I still think that graphics like watermarks and Classification Supers should be 16.9 safe these days.

While I'm here, here's a 16.9 safe (may I ask why the networks are still catering for 4.3/analogue viewers?) WIN PRG I whipped up in about 2 Minutes:

The map logo wold animate into the watermark. I know the classification/supertext (Yes, I know that WIN used the US-style CC logo now!) logos are a bit big, but they aren't on screen for more than 10-15 seconds anyway.

Is this an improvement on what they have now?

What they have now I could make on Powerpoint. Too simplistic. I reckon Seven's branding is starting to look pretty stale and bland. Give us a real presentation package- Nine is a country mile ahead at the moment.

The old 7News graphics package would have gone well with the current background used on national bulletins: maps on background & also on the super.

Here are some examples. What do you think?

This is what it'll look like if Nine News used WABC's news theme. Sounds and looks even more tabloid.

Kind of sounds like the ACA theme. A little.

Idea for a ticker or flipper for Today Show. I know some people don't like them including some people who work on the show, but my personal preference is that they should be on national programs, including Today.

Thoughts?
