Can I just ask, what is the connection type for the X-Box 360, Is it S-Video, Scart, or RCA?

It's Composite RCA (Video, L+R Audio), Component RCA (3 component and L+R audio), S-Video (plus L+R audio) and VGA (plus L+R audio).

The premium pack comes with the Component/Composite video cable while the core pack comes with the S-Video cable.

Which one are you planning on using? S-video would *probably* be my choice. I wonder if the PS3 will be the same... might have to look that up one of these days.

Most likely S-Video, which will mean that I will have to go and buy the cable seeing as the Premium Pack doesn't have it included.

I dunno what the fuss is about... I was at Kmart today and they had a display one set up and there was a few people waiting in line to play the damn thing. Or they were just crowded around watching the kid playing... I didn't take that much notice...

Big W Seems to have the cheapest prices for stuff tomorrow. The West today was absolutely flooded With XBX 360 ads from all kinds of retailers. Tomorrow only Big W has all 360 games at only $75, which seemed pretty good when I went into my local JB the other day and they were $119.

I'm not really interested, but its good to see Australia finally gets this thing out, almost 6mths after the US does.

Hahahaha. Only some local suppliers here (Computers Stores, smaller rare independant gaming stores, some stores in the City) have being allowed to open due to our lovely Trading Laws here in Perth. (Thou shalt not be open past 5:30pm from Mon-Fri, except for Thursday to 9:00pm)

I feel sorry for the poor people who'd have to run the shops in those hours,, you'd bloody hope they're getting a shift allowance.

Sorry they don't really interest me and they cost too much. But for those that like them have fun
Seven and Nine don't ring credibility.

Yeah, the cost is high. I can't believe games have broken through the $100 mark.

Games previously have being through the $100 mark, since the days of the SNES. Remember Super Mario AllStars? That was about $199. Plus, Most consoles since the Super Nintendo have had at least a few games over $100, the GameCube has one out currently (Resident Evil 4) that is $110 (Yet the console is about $70).

I did. I have a brief report on EyeSpy. I can't be bothered posting it again.

Ah so I finally made the jump into console world. Picked up the Xbox 360 Pro Holiday pack yesterday. Loving it so far!! biggrin.gif

Shame my TV is utter crap, although I've hooked it up to my 24" Dell Widescreen LCD monitor for the time being.

Still, I'm very impressed. I was thinking of getting a PS3, but really have no regrets getting a 360 so far.
