He's not inferring anything. However, he may be implying something.

I'm really liking Helen's presenting style compared to some of her predecessors on Today Tonight! I think she's going to be one of the best personalities that TT's ever had; she can do News and CUrrent Affairs both equally well, as she has been for around 7 years already on-air and much longer before that :)

Unfortunately her presenting style won't be enough to steer the TT ship away from the iceberg. The content is still terrible. TT 2013 was touted as being less sensationalist, so far it hasn't been.

As for the sighing & pouting mentioned in this thread, I think I'd be sighing & pouting, among other things, if I had to present such crap.

Helen will be co-hosting with Peter Mitchell on Monday,Melbourne's Moomba Street Parade.I think she will also play big part on Seven's coverage of Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal at the end of this month.

Helen will outshine Peter. Odd they didn't partner Peter with Jen Kyte.

Why so?

Interesting to see how well (or not so well) they go together!

Also more evidence of 7 trialling some different postitions with Helen.

I believe Helen will be very good in this one off co-hosting special.

I don't think she was ever properly with Sunday Night to begin with. They only gave her one or two brief things to do, some guest reporters have done more than that..

Judging by this recent interview, Helen considers herself as part of Sunday Night

Seven should use her as a fill-in presenter... even fly her up to Sydney once in awhile.

It's very blatant she's simply been warehoused cause she fronted a failure for them (TT). Who knows how long the contract might have been for.
