After the relaunching of the Daily Telegraph, Courier Mail and Herald Sun websites, and the launch of Perth Now and Adelaide Now, the main site, News.com.au, has recieved a revamp itself. A very impressive new look, I love the new header and most of all the layout. The new homepage covers not only news, but also has some very interesting information including TV, Gig and Movie guides. They have also introduced a blog entry under the major headlines. Less talk, more see... http://www.news.com.au!

Still looks like they stole the basic Fairfax design with a few modifications.
Good to see the entire site, including each individual Newspaper site finally get a revamp. The old Advertiser, Herald Sun, Courier Mail, Mercury & Sunday Times sites looked about 6 years old (and probably were..)

One thing I have noticed is that when going to the articles, the HOMESITE logo appears instead of the NEWS.com.au ones.

Not very nice. The logo doesn't work and the globe icon seems to be at odds with the rest of the page. There are some clever ideas in there but the design is poor.

They are a little wacky - the one in the picture is very old-school Mac.

Actually did The Australian change its logo as well? I don't remember the 'A' ever being a bigger letter.

They've made it very realistic, I've experienced more crashes this morning on that site than ever. Looks like Windows Vista keeps up the good work from before.

I personally quite like news.com.au and in particular because you can read the interstate newspapers as well.
