Hawkins, Denyer in line for pay cuts

High-profile Seven Network personalities Jennifer Hawkins, Grant Denyer and Jamie Durie are in line for pay cuts as management moves to scrutinise lucrative contracts, the Sunday Telegraph reports.

A Seven source said: “All contracts are being looked at … and Jennifer’s contract is a global figure, not a local one.”

Hawkins, whose contract expires in November, could have her salary halved, it was reported. Meanwhile, Denyer “would be facing a pay cut” if he wanted to stay at Seven, the source said.

Hawkins and Durie’s manager said neither of his clients wanted to leave Seven.

“I met (Seven CEO) David (Leckie) to start renegotiations and we had a positive meeting,” Sean Anderson said.

A Seven spokesperson would not be drawn on details of the current negotiations.
