Restaurant reviewer Larissa Dubecki, food writer Simon Thomsen and former restaurant reviewer Leo Schofield are expected to become the judging panel for Iron Chef Australia.
Award winning food writer, Richard Cornish, is poised to take on the role as host.
The additions to the local adaption of the culinary series follow confirmation from the Seven Network that chefs Neil Perry, Guillaume Brahimi and Guy Grossi would compete against young aspiring cooks, tasked with creating the best four dish menu against the clock.
The first season of the local adaption is believed to consist of six episodes, with the Sydney Morning Herald reporting it will go into production at Melbourne’s Docklands studios next month.
The show will be filmed in a kitchen stadium with a studio audience over two weeks beginning Monday 6 September.
An official air date is yet to be announced, however, Iron Chef Australia will reportedly premiere in October.
