Sarah Murdoch is rumoured to be returning to television as host of a rebooted So You Think You Can Dance Australia.
Murdoch quit as the presenter and co-executive producer of Australia's Next Top Model in December.
While a network is yet to announce the reality dancing show's revival, its former broadcaster Ten is likely to be behind the supposed move with Murdoch the wife of Ten chairman and major shareholder Lachlan Murdoch.
Ten decided not to return So You Think You Can Dance Australia in 2011, after ratings for the show in 2010 were well down on its previous two seasons.
Murdoch told The Daily Telegraph that she is eyeing a new gig for "the second half of the year".
"I am talking to different networks," she added.
"It's really nice to sit back and look at the options. I'm not rushing into anything."
The show's producer and co-creator Nigel Lythgoe told Dance Informa magazine in March last year that he wanted to see an Australian version back on air even if it wasn't on Ten.
"If the Ten Network don't want it, we're going to have to take it off them and take it to Seven or Nine with another production company," he said.
There was also rumours that Nine was looking at the format back in November.
